2 attacked by dogs in Bonham, owner arrested

BONHAM, TEXAS -- In Bonham, two people are attacked by dogs Wednesday night, and the dogs' owner is jailed.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, near downtown Bonham. Police say two dogs escaped from a car and attacked a woman in the 500 block of North Main.
A short time later, the dogs attacked an 11 year-old girl just around the corner on 5th Street.
Police say the dogs are believed to be Pit Bulls, and there were four of them in the car.
The woman was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, the little girl was flown to Children's Medical Center in Dallas. No word on their conditions.
The dogs' owner was arrested on misdemeanor charges related to the attack, but police are not releasing his identity.
The dogs have been taken into custody, and were placed in isolation.
