You know the death of Mrs. King made me sit here an remember , i've seen alot in my life time ..

I was on the earth when John Kennedy was killed, Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy, were also killed.

I remember the Vietnam war, I remember seeing the first spaceship launch, and so many other things.

I remember old black and white tv's, 45 records, oh my gosh the list goes on and on , when sodas were in bottles and cost 5 cents.

Sitting home that summer and watching the Watergate stuff :o

lol the hippy movement oh boy lol

It's strange how much history you witness and how much more to come.

Mrs. King was always a dignified woman in what ever she did ..

I'm the opposite, and I feel like I have missed out on history.

My grandfather was born in 1912. He worked on surveying the Canadian Railroad, went through the depression, bought a car for $10 (Ford Model A), paid $1.50 a month in rent for a house, etc etc etc.

I have seen a shuttle blow up on live TV twice, saw the twin towers come down, seen the beginning of the digital age.

BFD.

Sure the 'modern lifestyle' is pretty nice, but to have seen what I consider real history is a different thing all together.
