I loved Vermont until 2 years ago when we decided to go flyballin'...and camping too. In May. It was all good until the hail started (we were crated outside under a canopy). Then it snowed that night...we ended up sleeping in the van, with John's scooter parked in the snow under a tarp. SUPER.
It's pretty though!
But we also found out as we tried to sight-see in Bennington...that VT seems to be the state that the ADA forgot. NOTHING was accessible. Restaurants were not, gift shops were not. The big attraction...Bennington Pottery...nope, not accessible. Not by the pretty new stone walkway that ramped up...and ended in a step up.
At least we found an accessible winery...so John was finally happy.
