New home for a dachsund???

Postby Cult37 » March 23rd, 2009, 7:24 pm

I know it isn't a pitbull but my landlord knows I do rescue stuff and she asked me if I could help her find a home for a dachsund, if anyone knows of a breed rescue for them, or knows anyone who likes wiener dogs or wants one I would appreciate it...

Do you have more info on the dog? Sex, age, reason why the dog needs a new home, etc..... Pic would be great, too!

I have no picture yet I can talk to her to see what I can do, the dog is seven years old. so far as I know there is no problem or issue with the dog the family who had him had a child die unexpectedly in his sleep about three weeks ago and now just wants to rehome the dog. he is being kenneled currently.

Where are they located? I can probably take him on an emergency basis if transport can be arranged.

Any and all details will be very helpful! I'm sure we can help out. What a horrible experience for the family.

Well I can re-home him through my Rescue Assistance program if ya'll decide ya want to help and get him this way. I can travel an hour one way, maybe an hour and a half depending on my hubby's mood that day :)
