I have a foster dog, I've named her Puzzle (her name was Willow)...a whippet/pit mix(?)...she's here for fostering, because looks like a likely flyball candidate. Now that Fig is trained, I'm bored in class again...lol. (I love training a new dog).

She's actually got pretty crappy structure, but is very willing to learn, so we'll see what we can do.

This morning...we got to a good place...she TUGS! She LOVES to tug! She went from..."um...I'm not sure I should do this...to TUGTUGTUGTUG in a matter of minutes." She obviously hasn't been taught that it's okay to do, but wants to do it! So I'm going to build some tug drive as we're working on everything else.

Yea for tuggies!!! :cheer:

I have to work with Seth on this. He doesn't want to "posses" the toy. We went to training on Sunday and he wanted to tug on it but when it was given to him he would drop it.

Gator and Sorsha both love tugging. Gator is funny with it. With Charles or I he will not restrain himself. If Kaydra picks up the tug he tries to be so gentle. After a bit he ends up tugging too hard and it will slip out of her hand and then he will try to hand it back to her. If he finds that he is having trouble containing himself he will drop the tug and have a zoomie fit and then come back and try again. :crazy2: Glad that Puzzle is learning how fun the game is.
