I love watching dog training videos. I just found this one on Dog Star Daily.

He also stresses having someone video tape the training session so you can see what you did well and what you need to work on. I think that would be really valuable and I plan on seeing if Allen can do it sometime.

I really like Drayton Michaels. He has some fantastic videos and I'd love to meet him someday. He is great at turning an "oh crap" walking moment into a training opportunity.

I try to video some of my sessions with Inara. We've also been videoing all the BAT sessions we've been doing with our dogs and clients. They aren't exciting to watch, but they show you where you could have/should have marked and rewarded something. I bought a cheap tripod and can use that if nobody else is around to hold the video camera.

You know, I feel stupid for not really thinking about that. I have a camera and a tripod and could easily set up somewhere to train. A parking lot probably wouldn't work for that, haha, but we could go to the lake or something and still set up near the car. Thanks!
