My name is Kara and my family and I recently got a 9 week old female pit bull.. I already love her to death, only have had her a week today... I admit i fell into the whole media thing about the pit bulls.. I said I would never own one, and the more I read on them, the more I became interested in them.. When my family and some friends found out i got they had nothing but bad things to say.. I defended my dog to them and will continue to do so. I know these dogs put in certain situations are not good. I finually had to tell my family, let me show you she can be a good dog and not as mean as the one's that are in the news... Really hope to meet some friends on here and continue to learn about the pit bulls....

Hi Kara!
Where do you live? Tell us about YOU too!

This is a great place to learn, and if you're like a lot of us, you'll make great friends that you can really depend on.

I can't wait to hear more from you, and Grace is right, we LOVE pictures!
