My family has had a dog for a short period of time before, but this is the first time I've had my very own. After several months of research I decided on a pit bull, for these reasons: they are extremely loyal and will do anything to please their owners, they give everything they do their best, they love people, and they are great athletes.
I picked up my puppy at 6 weeks old. I wish he could have stayed with his mom for another two, I really feel like he missed out, but the owner wanted the puppies gone. I don't agree with that choice, but at least she cared to who they were going to.
This is Reno the day I got him.
And this is him now, at 14 weeks and 25 pounds as of Saturday (probably around 27 now, he's growing fast!)
He already knows well over a dozen commands and a few tricks, including shake, high-five, speak, and we're currently working on crawl (it's soooo cute!). He picks up commands very fast. He's mastered sit, down, in the car, inside/outside and a lot more. I'm very proud of him
