Anyway, I've decided to take commissions here if anyone is interested. Toby and I could really use the extra money, otherwise I'd just be tempted to do them for free because I love drawing for other people. But due to my recent move and all, I am really trying to make my money last as long as possible and every little bit helps! So I've come up with some general pricing, but it's really going to just depend on the subject matter, inclusion of a background or not, etc. So here goes!
8 x 10 - Price will range from $60 - 80
9 x 12 - Price will range from $80 - 100
11 x 14 - Price will range from $100 - 120
To get an exact quote, send me a picture of your dog and the size you'd like and I can let you know exactly how much I'd charge.
I can also have them matted with a color of your choice before I send them, and if you're interested in that I will have to figure out the pricing for it on an individual basis. I can give an estimate when the time comes, however.

Commissions will be done on a first come, first serve basis with regard to finalized orders. This means that if I get commissions from a, b and c in that order, if c finalizes the agreements before a and b, then c gets his or her picture done first.
All that is required is a very clear picture with decent lighting. Your drawing can only be as good as the picture provided. I can adjust some lighting and whatnot in Photoshop to make it better for drawing, but I can't "unblur" your dogs entire face.
So just keep that in mind. All prices are in US Dollars and must be paid before I send the drawing. I can accept money orders, possibly checks (they have to clear before I send), and I will see about paypal and get back to you if you're interested in doing it that way. I have no idea how it works for income, I only use it for spending.
