Hi, ok, just typed a response... lost it somehow.

It ended with me saying rivets are fine, I am excited to be getting a collar from Ella's Lead. In Liz's case the rivets were a split rivet with the backside of the rivet on a finished side, and I had a heck of a time getting them out. I dont doubt rivets are safe.

I like hardcore and bombproof, so my style is different.

Liz, Thanks again for posting all that!

Rebecca, yes on the 2"! ;)

thank you, all,

brad.

I took a couple pictures with it all hooked up so you guys can see how well it all fits together. Please ignore the abused look!

I just can't say enough how perfect this is for us! And when she's got her prong on the leash clips to the prong with the backup to her collar. Love it. :)

That set is gorgeous, Liz!
Great work, Brad!

Brad, I am going to be working on another collar for Ella.
It's going to be so awesome. It's going to be black leather and brass hardware and decorations.
I cannot wait to show you. :D

I finished up the pink collar I told you about that I was doing for Hello Bully, with the diamond bordering, and other than a few of the spots being a little crooked, it looks sweet.

And the pink leather is WAY harder to work with than our black leather, so I predict no issues with the border looking sweet for Lily's collar.

Awww, poor Inara, having to model again... lol! Thanks Liz, everything looks great! And I personally am relieved.

Rebecca, I cant wait to see it! Let me know when you have it available to look at, I would like for Jenny to see it also. It sounds really cool!

Any word Rebecca on some of that old-school hardware we were talking about? I got some slightly lighter leather that will be perfect for overlay pieces, and I'm looking for just the right project! :)

Ack!!!
I'm SOOO sorry, Brad!
I completely forgot to check out the size pieces I have.
I mainly have flat round heads, dome spots (not rivets), and various sized pyramid spots.
I don't have a TON in brass, as I don't get many requests for brass, but I have a ton of 1/4" brass pyramid spots, and quite a few 1/4" round brass dome spots.
Dome spots in prong style do not dome up as much as dome spot rivets. They're really neat looking.
Where I get my spots they have 1 1/4"x5/16" rectangular brass spots (you can get them in nickel plated brass for a silver finish if you'd like), but I am not sure which prong size/spike size they are.
For you, I'd go no smaller than a 5/16" prong size. And your leather may still be too thick.
100 of those rectangular brass spots (they're flat rectangles, which I think is what you were talking about), it will cost you $5.70.
BUT! The catch with this place is an automatic $16.00 S&H fee that you will have to pay no matter what you buy. I usually spend no less than $100 when I buy from them due to that hefty $16.00 fee.
That and their stuff is so inexpensive, I could go crazy.
