I love them too! I'm using one on a 6' training lead in fact! For size comparison, look at the snap and at the handle of the lead. The handle in this case is sized down from a regular lead, but is still 5.5" deep. The snap is almost the same length. It is a substantial piece of hardware and is designed in such a way that as a dog hits the end of the lead, the "eye" of the lead is forced up into the wedge shaped area of the snap, which conversely affects the other end, forcing the snap to stay closed. Its big enough to be gripped in your hand and squeezed. They are made by Herm Sprenger in Germany. I searched over a year to find a distributor in the states for these exact snaps, so I'm very pleased to be able to offer them. I'd like to be able to buy up the stock available!
I have been really happy with mine and continue to put it through its paces!
Thanks peeps!!!

Of course there are loaded guns in the house. I have a loaded fire extinguisher too I hope I never have to use.
