I absolutely ADORE her dress! It looks like she had a blast before even going to prom, at least

Thanks!! ***WARNING; SENSITIVE ""woman talk"" in the following post. *****

yes, the dress was 'interesting' and different, Just Like Kelcie. Everyone was waiting to see 'what kind' of dress she would have, because............well.............She's KELCIE, lol lol
We special ordered it from Japan,,,,,,,,,,,,it's called a Lolita-something.....there's an entire genre' to the Lolita look....*who knew?*

While the girls and she were getting ready, she turned into typical GIRL, hating everything: the makeup, her hair, her dress, etc. Every moment was teetering on a 'break-down", ((those of you who have girls, (or remember your days) know what I mean.
Then she just starting crying and said;::: """ Amanda was supposed to see My Dress""">>>>>

So I know that contributed to a lot of her stress.

but ..............we hugged, I reassured that everything LOOKED AMAZING...we laughed, the girls frolicked and the day continued!! A good many of the kids then met at the nursing home, to walk through and show the residents their outfits............. :) **such a nice tradition, for a small town**

then, LATER, around 9;30, Kelcie called me, Frantic. She had forgotten to take her Birth control Pill, (to reg. periods. this newest, strongest dose doesn't work either)). and she was FLOWING...at the prom, and no one else had 'anything".....
She was panicked...so............I reassured, comforted; ran to her room, got her pills (hoping if she took two we could stave off another whole period (she has one most of the month, even with the meds. a trip to a specialist is next on the list. Just what kelcie needs. another specialist, along with her others))...
Grabbed 'equipment' to address the problem, and off I went, at 9;30 at night, drove the half an hour to the town they held prom, and took her what she needed.

Poor Baby...................but she had a grand time, and we are thankful we can relish the blessings where they are bestowed.................

Thanks, guys!!!!!!!!!
We all knew she would pick something totally 'different' for her dress, and she sure did!!

It's amazing, though , how much one can spend on shoes (can't wear, hurts too much and ties won't stay up the calf)), a crinoline skirt to go under dress (who's gonna wear THAT again?)....

but the dress............yeah......(nodding), I can see the dress being worn again.

HECK...........I could wear it for HALLOWEEN!!
