When Truman takes a bath, he looks new to me. :)

When I saw the title I was like "WHAT?!" lilo's hair gets like that when I give her a bath too. Does he like baths?

:neener: He is actually losing weight on his new food plan. You know, the one where I only feed him the correct amount and don't give him cookies all day because he is so cute.

He HATES water. Hates their kiddie pool, hates the beach and hates getting bathed. Yet, he will sit outside in the pouring rain for hours. I will have to get a new photo of his snarky face when I hold the hose near it.

This was a while ago, but it is the same face I get whenever he gets "groomed".

Yup, he isn't all sweet potatoes. :) But I know my boundaries and know that even ponies can bite your finger off.

Goodness gracious! This is a side of pony I'd never expected!! Those teeth!

On the other hand the perm fits him well! Handsome boy.

Well, here's a question - if you are having one of those "all day rains" what if you let him out to sit in the rain and then go out and soap him up? Then let him sit and rinse? I bath Riggs and Connor by throwing the ball into the lake a couple of times, then soap, then a few more throws and they are clean! (Ruby's baths are not quite so easy...)

How can you even consider that clean?! :puke:

Dear Seth and LiLo - thanks for reluctantly getting into the bathtub and even bigger thanks for letting me use the forced air dryer on you. :neener:

Lake water is stinky! :crazy2:

We didn't have hot water at camp until I was in college. Every summer, all summer, while I was growing up we took baths in the lake. If you're in a stagnet or polluted lake, maybe it smells, but then I wouldn't be in it anyway... and neither would my dogs considering the issues we've had in the past from them getting into bad water.

Ooooohhh! That is a good idea, Michelle. :lol3: He isn't too fond of the "soaping up part" either, but it would help with the rinsing.

I'd only be afraid the rain wouldn't penetrate all the way into the undercoat, and then he'd have soap residue and flaky/itchy skin...

Tie him up to a tree and power hose him down from a distance!

True, and it would have to be a very heavy rain, so I would be drenched.

Well, if he's going to make things complicated by being fussy about his personal hygiene, suck it up pony! :D

I'm lucky both my boys jump in the tub (sulking) when I ask, and will just stand mortified when it's bathtime.
