Our Obedience club lost a wonderful member this week.
For those of you who do not know Bill he was a wonderful 78 yr old gentleman who had German Shepherds.
Him and his wife were regulars at our CGC/TDI tests as crowd members. He always came in and asked the first night of classes when the test was, where he could sign up to be in the crowd. He seemed to enjoy volunteering and it was a joy to see members so eager to help out in a way they so enjoyed.
He was often seen at the building on Tuesday nights dropping by with his elderly german shepherd. He was such a sweet gentleman. He would sit and chat with the club member who was sitting the table and his main goal this year was to socialize his elderly shepherd who had just lost her best friend earlier this year. He was worried she'd be too depressed so he made sure that even if it was bad outside he would get to the building to get her out for her weekly play date with the table steward at the building.
The club has lost a wonderful member.. and the world has lost a wonderful man.
