Sad news in The Dalles

Postby kayesmith » August 31st, 2006, 11:55 am

Emma Lou our special mama dog from Washington had surgery two days ago. We lost ALL of the pups when they started getting stuck in the birth canal. She had a c-section to remove her kids. It is bitter sweet for with each passing day we knew she was going to have too many, and they were too big for mom to have. We do not know how many, but the three born dead looked just like mom. Emma is doing ok, she sure is a sweet girl, with a huge heart. She is very tiny. Emma would have died on her own if she had not been saved. If someone had no been there when the pups started coming she would have suffered so much. I thank God for our WONDERFUL Vet Dr. Nunn and my dear friend Lana who stayed with Emma while I had to stay at work (vet bill is way too high). Just thought everyone who cared should know. Now Jesseca will have to make a video of our dear Emma for she deserves a forever home.
