But.. in the same journey I found a little hole in the wall bar called "Farmers" that is a pit friendly establishment. The bar manager has two pits and he let me bring the dog in, and even filled up a bowl of water for her. So even if your dog is not dog park/bar appropriate this is another establishment that should be supported. The manager is a great advocate for the breed, and dogs in general. It's definately a dive bar (which are my personal favorite bars) but has nice TV's, a dart board and a pool table.
