wow, it looks great. His wound care must be excellent, I can't recall a pic where I saw any yucky looking stuff.

Not to curse it, but there really hasn't been ANY yucky stuff, except right at the beginning. It never got funky or anything bad at all.

I haven't done anything except keep him quiet and make sure the bandage stays dry. Everything else has been the work of Dr Blabs and Indy.

Forgot to add this pic when I took it several weeks ago. (Warning! It's kinda gross! :wink:

)

Here's where his dew claw was wrapped up under the bandage. You can see where the claw itself cut into the skin and where the skin grew up around the claw. It looks much better than it was when the area was kept wrapped, but when he moved, the nail would re-cut into the scab, so we had to do a lot of creative padding to get it to heal.

Now, his foot looks almost completely normal.
