Well, Feline cancer anyway...

Here is where we can discuss canine cancers and treatment options to create a support system for those dealing with the disease.

Blender tuna! I hope he is feeling better and is eating a bit more. Anything is better than nothing.

You both are in my thoughts and I hope he will feel better so you have more time with him.

Thanks...

He is back to eating cat food now. Blender cat food, but he's eating about a can a day, so maybe 3 ounces.... far less than he really needs, but he's getting something.

And he's taken to following me around the house YELLING at me, which is charming.

I just saw your post (strayed away for a while)... This sucks.

Your old guy can be glad he's not at the hospital, being force-fed crappy food. He gets to be home, yell at you, AND make you prep decadent cat things. Can't ask for more, when you're a 16 yr old cat.

I hope the nausea meds kick in and help some more. Pred can de-flate anything that's angry, so if he's got inflammation related discomfort, that'll help. Poor man.

Keep up the varied menu and patience for the screaming kitty. Lots of cuddles.

He's stinky, and for some reason is constantly covered in food. Last night, I was picking food out of his tail. Fun fun fun. He gets it all over his face too, like he's dipping his nose in it instead of licking it. So, I bath him with pet-wipes once a day to keep the mess at bay.

We're not force feeding, I don't have the heart to do that to him. The pills twice a day piss him off enough.

We're currently on liquefied mackerel. *gag* Which we warm up before serving.

We had a bad weekend, and took him in to the vet's today. He refused all food on Sunday and today, and though he still made no indication that he was in pain, it was time.
