Donations to Members - Paying it Forward

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby Marinepits » July 4th, 2008, 6:27 pm

We have had many requests from members to open up "donation" threads for dogs and people in need. In the interest of fairness for all, we have created a forum dedicated specifically to those needing a bit of financial assistance. Each thread will list one person and what they need, and where to send a donation. The donating member will remain anonymous to the general forum, and only the person receiving the donation will know "who sent what".

Of course, no one is obligated to donate to anyone.

For a complete list of the rules regarding requesting a donation or nominating someone for help, please visit the new forum: viewforum.php?f=63

If you have any questions regarding this new forum, please PM a staff member (our names are listed in red). Thank you!

Forum Code of Conduct

No solicitation of funds for any reason. If you have an idea for a fundraiser, you MUST get permission from the Staff. If we find out you are soliciting funds FOR ANY REASON or FROM ANYONE without permission, you will be banned.

We have quite a few very generous members on this forum and we implemented this rule so that those members would not be inundated with requests for help.

If you have a request for a fundraiser for ANY reason -- contact a Staff member (our names are listed in red ). Any requests posted without permission will be immediately pulled.

Also, see our "Paying It Forward" section: viewforum.php?f=63

Thank you!
