Staffs and Pits...Paul Sofiakis

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

The late Paul Sofiakis of Chicago, was quite a Fancier of Bulldogs. Paul, had some of the finest Staffs on the planet. Paul, was also a fanatic on the Mayfield blood. He loved Mayfield's SUNSHINE.
Paul, would call me at least once a week, and try to buy my Safflower. I miss our conversations.
Below, is a Dog World ad, that Paul had. It's in the upper left corner.

I'm liking how that first ped is put together.

You got some pics of your dog?

Both Paul's male, and my bitch were sired by SUNSHINE, and have been gone for well over 20yrs. I'm sorry to say, I don't have any pics of her on the net. It's a shame, but the only pic I have of her is not very good.
My current dogs, throw back to her. This male, resembles her a lot. Safflower is in his 4th gen.

In the mid 70's, Don Mayfield, ran page ads in Holt's Pit Dog Report, Magazine. SUNSHINE, was offered @ Stud, for $500.
