A few from the Nutcracker in Syracuse

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

My sister is their head costume designer, and with the exception of Sugar Plum Fairy (in pink) and the Prince, made every costume you see. The lighting is hideous in the performance. Most of these pictures are actually corrected for the white balance, so the color you are seeing is actually the lighting that is on stage. For some unknown reason, the lighting designer put most of the second act in orange lights. You can't see the dancers or the set - in some of them you can see the correct lighting - that would be when the backdrop has actual color.

The costumes are gorgeous! I love The Nutcracker. It's been far too long since I've seen it.

Ditto - the costumes are wonderful & the last time I saw The Nutcracker, I took my niece when she was about 7, now she's grown with two little girls of her own.

Beautiful costumes! When I get skinnier I want a harem girl outfit. :)
