Happiness is...

Hearing your dog crunch through a chicken quarter and knowing that you're once again feeding a biologically appropriate diet. *happy sigh*

You can take some deer legs home in June! :)

I like how at first she kind of licks at it and looks at the camera like she's saying "Is this for me?!"

I wish Seth could handle eating raw stuff. Both of my dogs suck their kibble down in a matter of seconds. Unfortunately every time I try it ends in the worst diarrhea I've ever seen in my life and Seth feels miserable for a few days.

Hopefully I can find a freezer before then or else I won't have anywhere to put them! I've been keeping a close eye on Craigslist. Had one lined up but the woman's husband sold it to somebody else when she wasn't home. I was salty. >(

Isn't it great? When we had company over, they got to watch Nadia eat a turkey leg and an egg!

I feel less weird now.
I just started adding raw to my dogs' diets and I love to sit outside with them and hear them crush the bones. It's become a daily ritual.
