Applebees Restaurant is offering free meals to all Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel on Veterans' Day (Wednesday November 11). Just show proof of military service.

Personally, I'm not crazy about their food, but a promotion like that would definitely get my business. Ever since Pizzeria Uno did the "Pizzas for Troops" program, we go there far more often than we used to. I made sure to tell the manager that we were very happy that they chose to support the troops in such a public way. I am now addicted to their Rattlesnake Pasta, LOL.

We also found out that our local Harley dealership offers a substantial discount to veterans. That is going to cause trouble around here come springtime..... :shock: :lol3:

I saw a commercial that Outback Steakhouse will be giving free bloomin onions to veterans tomorrow as well
