What are the Odds?

Found on our local radio station website. http://kogt.com/

The McLewis Fire Dept. was responding to a house fire on Tulane Monday afternoon when their tanker truck was struck by a van at the intersection of Hwy. 62 and I-10. The van was driven by Alicia Chaisson, 45, of Orange, who was leaving work after she learned that her house on Tulane was on fire. The fire truck was knocked out of commission but no one received serious injuries. Bridge City VFD responded with McLewis to tap out the fire at Chaison's house, keeping the damage to mostly the one room where the fire started.

Joyce,
This happened less than a mile from our house. There was no mention of injuries, and in fact I came through the intersection while the emergency vehicles were arriving and closing the area to traffic. I saw no ambulances - lots of fire department, police and sheriff dept. I think it is safe to chuckle.
