I switched Inara back to raw about a week ago now and it's been fantastic - she's happy, her teeth are already vastly cleaner, and even her nailbeds are clearer (they had a brown tinge). When she was on raw before I fed her once a day, in the evening, so she could just have one big meal a day. But while she was on kibble I fed her twice a day. She's having trouble adjusting to eating only once a day. Three times now since switching she's thrown up yellow bile in the morning, which I know is a sign of hunger. But she's eating over a pound of meat in the evenings.
I hate to feed her twice a day because I prefer to feed one big hunk of meat vs. two smaller ones that she'll finish in a minute. I have a bunch of little "bricks" (1" by 3" maybe?) of Primal mix samples. I'm contemplating giving her one brick each morning in a Kong, just to put something in her tummy. But then I should technically cut back on her food in the evening, which, again, is what I'm trying to avoid.
Any ideas? I just gave her a Primal-stuffed Kong 'cause she threw up, so she's happy now. But I don't remember having this issue when she was on raw before.
