Yep, Sid is also allergic to dust mites. Her worst allergies are ones that simply CANNOT be removed from her enviroment.
She needs a bubble.

I have one like that too. Even tried the hyposensitization shots... my little bubble boy. :sad2:

 Poor Sidney... I hope you can find something to make her feel better!
We have a Mastiff... does that count??? :)

?
Can storing it in the fridge minimize this issue?

Freezing small baggies helps, (think meal size) And buying smaller bags helps too. If its mite though, the type of food you feed isn't as important as how long you have it.

I've been told that grain free should have less mites, since grain storage is where many of the mites will originate from. Any thoughts?
A friend is trying to help me out with home-cooked diets, but it looks like its going to be expensive.
I placed another raw order today for her and have stopped feeding kibble for the time being.

I doubt it :| Dust mites can come from anywhere :| You might avoid grain-oriented species, but not the others.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Oh! Sorry. A lot of what we feed comes from local farms (Heffron Farms). I have been using up an order from Taylor Ponds Farms, which I like for the variety, but it is difficult for me to get-- no distributors in the city.
I use Simple Pet Food often. I really like them and they will ship to me at a very reasonable price.
