Fenway is a rather high strung dog (compared to the 10 and 14 year old Sibes I recently lost). DAP diffusers and Rescue Remedy have helped a bit, but to help with him in public, I’ve decided to add some relaxing essential oils to his collar.
I should have known that the dogs would try to “assist” me in dabbing the oils onto his collar. All of them jumped up to see what I was doing, bumped into me, and caused me to put on twice as much oil as I had intended.
The overdose of oil was a double whammie. First, it gave me a serious migraine. Second, when I went to get some aspirin for said migraine, I walked back into the living room to find this (please ignore the trashed couch, I've given up and turned it over to the dogs):
I think it’s safe to say the essential oils are doing their job; and then some. Fenway approves too:
"Duuuude, look at all the colors"
