Seth and I went to our first fun match today! It was really nerve wracking for me as I have never done any of this before. We have a lot of work to do in our obedience and we need to work on grass more as he was kind of off in la la land most of the time. I'm really proud of him because he was VERY relaxed about everything. I was a nervous wreck. I screwed up our obedience because I didn't know we had to repeat the figure 8. The rally judge was REALLY nice and easy going and encouraging, the obedience judge was kind of awkward and confusing so I ended up messing up. I'm really proud of Seth overall and we're just going to keep practicing. I also messed up on the recall in obedience because I used a voice command and a hand signal - but at least my dog came :p

I should also mention it was absolutely MISERABLE and rainy and Seth was pretty much done after our obedience round. They were supposed to go in order and we would have been 2nd in line but they took anyone instead so we had to wait behind 6 dogs and Seth melts in the rain if he gets wet enough :crazy2:

Thanks! I'm hoping we get some more fun matches closer to here. I would LOVE the practice.
