Rufus

Rufus is my pit mix. i have no clue what he is mixed with. i know his mother is a pit bull, and the same brindle as him. he was the runt out of 9 puppies.he is 3 1/2 years old, and has his CGC, TT and Therapy dog titles. We go to the local hospital every saturday to visit the patients. I adopted him from the Burlington Animal Alliance in Burlington NJ.

thanks dee, you dont know what michelle and i went thru to get them to get that pose.. we switched outfits too, it was raining out earlier so the deck was wet.. rufus was not happy sitting on the wet deck.... out of i think 100 pictures this one and a few others were the only ones that came out good...

this is rufus, ruby and my old foster pup joey.. you can tell they were not happy with the picture taking of the day....

Is that the same as Burlington County Animal Alliance http://www.bcaaofnj.org?

yep, its a subdivision of them. his mom was picked up as a stray, and the shelter didnt know she was pregnant. she gave birth that same night. the shelter was going to euth the entire litter and mom, and a local pit bull rescue was called and took the mom and 9 pups.. i started out babysitting him for his foster mom, and was looking to add a submissive dog to my pack, kept him for a month, and decided to adopt him.. so now i have 3 dominant dogs at home LOL.. his foster mom told me his siblings all picked on him all the time...
