Many companies have breed restrictions and won't insure your house / apartment if you have a dog on their banned list. Companies like State Farm only want to know if you have a dog and if it has bitten someone. They don't care about the breed.
Lieing about the breed to get insurance is a VERY bad thing. If there ever was an incident and you lied they can deny you coverage and you could literally lose everything.

As a general rule, whatever your vet has on record as your dog's mix is what that dog is considered to be. However, if the issue is pushed, they may come up with whatever they want.
I'm still betting on DDB mix for Yoda.

Depends on your state and what your insurance company requires.

I'm not "in" Denver, I'm a few blocks north. I feel like I'm thumbing my nose at them, but I'm in the demilitarized zone so I better be careful
