I quicked Trey's nails on my carpet and there was a huge blood stain. All I had to do was spray it with peroxide and it COMPLETELY disappeared. No scrubbing or anything. It just lifted out of the carpet and I blotted it with a paper towel.

Shaving cream and a toothbrush. It removes blood and stuff. Thats what I use.

Plain ole shaving cream. Put it on the spot, take a toothbrush and rub it in and let it sit for a minute and take a warm wet cloth and clean it up. It has worked for me with blood stains on clothing and on carpet.. With clothing I scrub it in the same way and then throw it in the wash.
