How to post pictures

Post your pics and vids here.

Postby mnp13 » March 14th, 2006, 11:43 am

You must have your image hosted online. If you don't have a website, try a free hosting site like Photobucket.

After you upload your images, Photobucket (or whatever site you choose) usually has an already written string of code for you to put up.

The code should start with

If you are hosting your own pictures, the code should look like this:
(with no spaces)

PLEASE, don't post pictures bigger than 450 wide or 450 tall. They take forever to load for the dialup people.

Do you have the image link from photobucket so we can help you troubleshoot?

I'm on a government computer so certain websites aren't able to load. Photo bucket is on of them.

I would assume they are going to block most of the image hosting sites but you could try http://imageshack.us/

Your welcome, I'm not sure what it is about photobucket that gets blocked, but I have the same problem from work. Pain because I have to log on from home to see most of the pictures.

I would get a photobucket account...that's what we mostly use on here...it's a free account!

Yep, that would be your avatar. You can change it in your profile & photobucket will size it for you.

The Photobucket avatar is too big... this forum won't accept it. :)
You can e-mail it to me and I'll resize it for you - amazingchemnitz@aol.com

Is there any way to resize multiple pictures at the same time ? I have 50 some odd pictures I want to post and they are all too large, that -even though I am now quite fast-, will take me a good 1/2 hr to 45 minutes. I have Micro. Office Pic. Manager, Paint, and I use Photobucket, and I haven't been able to find that option on any of them so far...
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.
