Ruby would probably let me do it actually. Not happily, but she's pretty tolerant of weird stuff from me. If we do it we'll take pictures.

One interesting note, as soon as we got it out and he was breathing clear, I put him down on the floor to flip him upright so I could carry him normally. The first thing he did was try to grab the chunk of bone again.
