A Miracle

My step-mom, who about a year ago couldn't even be in the same room as Inara without hyperventilating and getting nauseous due to fear, cuddled on the couch with Inara.

When I first looked at this I read step-SON instead of step-MOM. I couldn't figure out where Liz got a step-son. :crazy2: :rolleyes2:

That is so awesome that your step-MOM :) is able to relax around Inara.

Thanks all! She still yells at my dad if he starts playing with Inara (she gets nervous when Inara barks, growls or, quite frankly, opens her mouth at all. :giggle:

Great job, Inara!! How did you get Step-mom to let go of her fear? Is it all dogs she has a fear of?

Joyce, she's not scared of all dogs, just pit bulls. :rolleyes2: Inara just spent a lot of time on leash at first, or in her crate. We just took super small baby steps until Diane was able to be in the same room, then pet her, then be okay with her off-leash. Took a long time!
