A Rochester man has been arrested by the Humane Society for aggravated cruelty to animals.
Devon Miller, 24, is accused of fatally stabbing and throwing a six-month-old pit bull puppy during a domestic incident.
A 13-year-old boy living at the same address witnessed the attack and now Miller faces an additional charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Miller was arrested and taken to jail after being denied bail due to a violent criminal history.
Miller is set to appear in court on June 26 for a preliminary hearing. The felony aggravated cruelty to animal offense carries a penalty of up to two years in jail and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
