Hey guys, I am just joining, and I must say, I am already in love with this forum!

I am a 23 year old student from Edmond, OK and my boyfriend and I are the proud owners of two rescued pitbulls, (possible pit mixes). Degan, who we found in a shelter, is one a one and a half years old, is 'blue seal' in color and weighs about 75 pounds. We took him home when he was three months old. Harlow, who we got about six months ago from craigs list is one year old, white with brindle cow print, and weighs about 40 pounds. Harlow was found almost starved to death at about 4 months old by some fellow pit owners who wanted to breed her, but when they realized she could potentially be a mix, they decided they did not want to keep her. She is what we call 'special'. I think she missed out on some crucial nutrients as a puppy and her growth was stunted, along with her intelligence. But what she lacks in brains she truly makes up for in heart. Our dogs are our children and I honestly don't know what we would do without them!
Although I have only been a part of the pitbull community for a little over a year, I am truly in love with this breed. I plan to eventually,(once I have my own home and a little bit of land) run a rescue that specializes in bully breeds. I truly think it is my calling in life to help these animals; I have never felt more passionately about anything!
I look forward to all the learning, and companionship I hope to find here!

This is the best family portrait I can find!
