Ink in water

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

I have my fountain pen nib soaking in water to see if I can get it working again (if not - John, I'll be contacting you for a fountain pen!), and I thought the ink as it swirled out of the nib was neat, almost like writing in the water. I tried to increase the contrast so it was easier to see, but I don't have mad Picasa skillz. But trust me, it looked really cool!

How can you write with those things? My hands are always a mess when I've used them. Then again my penmanship is reminiscent of a 3rd grader.
