We had a good time, though it was tiring standing there for over three hours. Many people were supportive as they drove by (honking and cheering), some people stopped to complain..."he deserves another chance!" and one awful person actually rolled down his window and told me to "kill my dog".
Idiot.
But the cops were nice and supportive...we were in the two left lanes nearest the building, cordoned off by the police.
They all said that they'd like to join the protest themselves!
