I just had to share a pic with you guys. This is Luka. His mom was in a local shelter and they called us to take her, the shelter manager is not a fan of pits and was going to put her down just for that. When I went to meet mom, I kid you not the shelter had at LEAST 15 empty kennels and only 4 dogs total and she was going down because the manager said "she's not having babies in MY shelter" :mad2:

So Autumn came to us and 2 weeks to the day when we pulled her, she gave birth to 8 babies. One died almost immediately (RIP sweetness) but 7 absolutely thrived. There was speculation that dad was a chi chi. Autumn and dad were surrendered to the shelter because of a break up. We are still unsure but the legs sure indicate maybe so.....

So meet Luka (and yes, he is a namesake)

Cuuuuute!! And Finnegan looks like my Simon boy in that picture.

Things like this almost make me want a puppy... almost.

Also... Empty kennels? WTF?? Our local shelter has 4-500 animals a day. There are just warehouses of animals. The idea of one with space is crazy enough AND one with space PTSing dogs anyway is insane to me. :nono:

We sure get some interesting litters at Pitty Love. The last litter - Pit Bull/Speculated St Bernard. This one, Pit Bull/Speculated Chihuahua!

They are cute.
