We are home!
He had to be restrained from running down the corridor at the Vet's, trying to break out of his kennel there and pushing his way through the door in the office they stuck him in.
The SUV? Three of them had the sling on him and ready to lift him. As he got to the SUV and they opened the back, he jumped in, pushed over the seat and sat in the middle section. My DIL sat in the back space.
Home? I backed it up to the perfect spot, with three of us ready to help him. He jumped down on three legs.
He is now snoozing on his dog bed.
