My Dearest Lenny,

I feel I have lost one of my own. Your mommy is one of the best and I am so thankful that you found your way into her life. You learned how to be a dog and to be loved like a dog deserves be loved. Your forgiveness for your past was inspiring.
Thank you for letting me be part of your life through the daily stories your mommy would tell me. I know that you have found you a very special patch of grass to roll in.

Always and forever, Auntie Missy

I don't think I ever told you this, but my inspirations for naming Leni were Vinny and your Lenny. Lenny will always live on in our hearts. ((hugs and strength)) to you and your crew.

Joyce...I wish I had miracle words to help. I am so sorry. You gave him more in the two and a half years than he could have ever imagined. Bless you for that. :hug3: Run free sweet boy.

I usually avoid this section because I end up crying the contact lenses out of my eye balls.

Joyce,

I am so sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your pack. Gremlin says that Lenny will learn to be a dog and play because Petey loved to play and play with other dogs. He'll be in good company.

Lenny lived the last few years of his life in the lap of canine luxury with you, someone who loved him, cared for him and made the last years of his life the best years of his life. I believe he told you that he knew that and thanked you when he gave you those kisses.

Hugs to you. Image

Thank you all for your condolences. It helps my heart, knowing "we" all raised him and love him for the two and a half years.

So, being the first morning without him...well...you all know. He always barked two times at 5:15 a.m., in case Truman hadn't done his job and gotten me up.
