Have they met already? How did it go?

It will be several weeks before she is ready for her new home. It's looking like mid-late September we'll be going to get her. Will no doubt be asking lots of questions. It's been a long, long time since we had a puppy. Granted she's an older puppy, but still a puppy.

We plan to do the mandatory crate her until they are used to the other being in the house and then proceed with caution. Duke has always done well with females and dogs that aren't small, so I'm not anticipating a problem. Of course, Duke is a JA, so he could prove me wrong.

I got to love on Emmi today! Can't wait for you all to come meet her. Her skin looks much better and the spay incision is healing very nicely. She's such a sweet, sweet girl. I suspect that she and Duke will get along just fine.

If anybody wants to read the story of Emmi and the Bushnell litter, you can find it here: http://www.epitome-dog-rescue.org/viewt ... f=44&t=163

Angie = I asked Devon to get a new pic of the belly. Remind her if you think about it ;)

I think Duke will be fine. If I thought anything different, we wouldn't even try.

If I remember correctly Devon's camera isn't working, but I can probably go over there tomorrow and get some new pics. It will give me an excuse to see Em again. :heartbeat:
