You can find cheap scales at Wal-Mart, generally in with the kitchen utensils.

When I fed raw, I weighed for a bit but then I learned to eyeball it. Then I got even lazier and just fed less if she started looking pudgy, more if she started looking thin. It's not an exact science.

Double what Liz said, that's how I did it too. It's SUCH an easy way to feed!

We weigh meals. It's very very easy to over feed them, and you can find yourself with a chubb-o unexpectedly. You can pick up a scale for $10, it's a very good investment.

I used to weigh...Greg still does....now I just eyeball it...and I go by how the dog looks...

I weigh the dog's food on the same scale I use to weigh my own.
It was less than $15 at GNC.

Personally, I am not great at eyeballing food amounts and since I am new to the whole raw thing I'd rather figure it out with details first.

I don't bother weighing. Meals everyday are at a whim as sometimes they get a ton of training treats, and sometimes they get heavier "good-bye" treats (bones and longer lasting stuff for when I leave for work), so the morning meal and the dinner are just eyeballed. I keep an eye on their waists and if someone is looking tubby they get a little less food for a while. Eyeballing it is pretty damn easy when you look at both the dog's physical features and the food. I wish I had a chef to eyeball and feed me. LOL!
