OHHHH yeah, that's right. Well, you'll have to come up early for the wedding, because if I have marks in my dress people will ask questions...

Liz, how big are your carabiner clips? Do you do leads with those instead of a clip? Do you use any small clips?

I'm in the market for a strong lead with a small, non-bulky clip. The trainer we're about to start working with was talking to me about revisiting the Easy Walk harness with a smaller clip so it doesn't bang against Robin's chest. I'm investigating my options. We'll see :|

The carabiner is Very small and lightweight - 1 1/2", maybe 2" long? I think it's actually smaller than the scissor clips I use. And yes, I can put that on a regular lead for a minimal extra fee.

My standard scissor clips are probably 2 1/2" to 3" long, but also lightweight.

I always hated the banging of front clip harnesses, too - part of the reason I stopped using them. That, and they didn't work for Inara. You might want to try clipping the leash to the front ring, but then running the leash under that front strap. Still works like a front clip harness but no banging.

Or buy one of my leashes. They're magic and fix all woes.

Thanks, Liz! Let me try a couple of things and see what's going to work best. I'm really trying hard to come up with an excuse to get a sweet red and pink leash for Miss Robin... ;-)

Have a couple projects planned for this weekend - Erin's martingale/lead combo (haven't forgotten you!) and something I'm teaming up with Ana of Paco Collars and Jacki of the Collar Shop to do. If I'm happy with both items, I'll post pics when they're done!

I can now get reflective paracord!

And glow in the dark paracord when they get it back in stock!

Liz...what's your turnaround time like nowadays? I wanted to order two leads for the kids, for the upcoming flyball tourney...but I don't have the money *right* now...so it'd be a week or so before I could order...but the tourney is the second weekend in Oct. Not sure if that'd give you enough time.

If I have the colors on hand, I can get you two leads in a week and a half. For you, I'd haul ass.

ETA if you know what you want, and you definitely are going to order, let me know what you want and I'll go ahead and start it. And I placed a huge cord order today so I should have most any color you need by the end of this week.

Not sure if you're still running under purple and yellow, but I saw this cord when I was ordering and actually thought of you:

I didn't order it though.

yup, we're still purple and gold...that grapevine is cool.

How much for two regular leads, one purple/pink and one purple/gold(yellow)? 4' length, regular handle. Cheap clip...we're not walking pullers.

I usually do 5' snap leads for $18, so I'll do 4' for $17 each (unfortunately it's the hardware that's expensive, not the cord!).

Do you want hot pink or light pink?

I'll have to wait until some of my clients pay up...hopefully by the end of the week.

No problem. When I get my cord in I'll get started on those. :)

yea! They're gonna be so excited...and I'll be happy that they won't keep using MY leashes and leaving them all over the crating area. I figured 4' because they like to keep the dogs close (which is good!)
