I hate messing with pix and am grossly overdue in sharing some Ruby-fun. These were taken yesterday with a 'new' solo photographer technique I came up with and, for my (lack of) skills, I am pretty happy with how they turned out.

I did a fake-out throw to get her to run some distance away and then I bounced the ball (left handed) trying to get it to go up-ish in front of me and the camera, which I was holding ready (and mostly steady) and I blindly clicked when I thought she'd be framed. I only got one body-less 'tail' shot BTW. I think I'm onto something since when I usually try to throw the ball, she will run straight at me on her return so I don't get any side views...

I've used your "technique" many a time myself, LOL.

Those are great! I especially love the 4th one because it looks like she's just standing normally but was photoshopped to be at a weird angle. :giggle:

I agree, although the first thing I thought was that she was just about to land on her side! :lmao:

She's a beauty!!! Looks like she really gets into the ball game!!! Great pics- love seeing happy dogs, especially since I see a lot of unhappy ones at work all day!!
