Never had any UTI's (knock on wood) but the crystals persisted through any kind of food I've tried her on. I have not used prescription diets becuase I wasn't thrilled with the idea and wanted to see if there was another way around having to resort to them. She takes a cranberry supplement (capsules) and it makes a difference in her urine PH. It doesn't alleviate all of the crystals but she's down to none or just a few whenever I do UA's on her vs the enormous amounts she used to have before. Lukily for me she's an avid water drinker so that helps as well. Her urine stinks to high hell but I've never seen any bacteria in it on the microscope and I send out samples to the lab periodically just to be sure.
No dietary advise here, just wanted to add my experience in case it was at all helpful. If anyone has feedback on supplements with Vit C or D-Meth. in them working I'd love to hear it. I've considered adding the DM to her diet but the cranberry seems to work so I haven't toyed with it.
Do you feed raw or kibble or something else?

We'll keep on keeping on with cranberry/vit C and a more moisture-rich diet. Fingers crossed this continues.
