Rant about neighbors

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

Postby pitbullmamaliz » December 23rd, 2011, 8:10 am

The neighbors across the street from me (with the roaming pit bulls that charge people and the horrible children that go in people's yards, on their porches, and may have put my neighbor's dog in my backyard) have hit a new low. I was woken up at 1:30 this morning by the sound of a very angry mob of people. Of course it was them. There was some kind of altercation with about 15 people going on, in the middle of the street, yelling, chest bumping, crotch grabbing. Somebody nearly got run over a couple times. I called the cops as I wouldn't have been surprised to see a gun come out (Inara was actually locked in my bedroom so she'd be away from windows if bullets started flying) but they couldn't come out right away unless it turned into a physical brawl.

I am just at the end of my rope. If I rented I would be seriously contemplating moving to get away from these people. They are turning my neighborhood into a ghetto. If I wanted to live in an environment like this I'd move to East Cleveland (the ghetto of all ghettos) and buy a house for 10 grand.

I don't know what to do. It's already my mission to get video of their dogs roaming (or even catch one) so animal control has proof. I called AC on Tuesday and they were out there within an hour, but they didn't answer the door. I could see them looking down from an upstairs window, but couldn't get out to the ACO in time to let him know. I'm going to call AC every time I see the dogs out. I guess I'm just hoping that maybe they'll get sick of the harassment and move, but that's a long shot. But it's really getting miserable living across from them.

Not sure. I'm desperately hoping they're just renting.
