This is VERY well done, I think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUaInS6HIGo

it is very well done. It catches visual and auditory learners. I caught my attention (which is, easily lost...)
and I think its true.

As a person who has walked AND jogged (and when much, much younger, did competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics and before that, dance in multiple areas), I think walking is the safest, and most attainable option for all types and kinds of people. In the end, a combination of my bad conformation and bad jogging technique caused me to aggravate a cumulative trauma injury, which I will be managing for the rest of my life. I had the potential to rehab myself enough to be able to jog again, but with the potential to have bad techniqe and cause so, so many issues (other cumulative trauma injuries, arthritis...) plus my existing issues and the cost of additional physiotherapy if I were to reinjure myself, I've chosen to stick with walking and hopefully, more strenuous hikes.
It is something that I should be able to maintain throughout my life, I can maintain some cardiovascular health (if I'm at a fast enough pace), and I can do it with my dog :)
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

I like the emphasis on limiting sitting/sleeping to 23 1/2 hours a day instead of making time for 30 minutes of exercise. So often I try to convince my friends, all I'm doing is running for 30 minutes a day. And they go, well I just don't have time for that! Seriously? They're jealous of my weight loss and want to be fit too, but they don't feel like that have time for 30 minutes? I've noticed that a LOT of people, myself included, make excuses as well. Once I got in the habit, it just became something that I *had* to do. But starting out, people find all sorts of excuses. No time, headache, too tired... etc. I've gone running after a 7 hour shift (which is more than most of my friends work), with a headache, crampy, and sore knees and had one of my best runs to date. I felt GREAT afterwards.

I find that typically, people don't want to put in the effort. It's not a priority to them.

Very well done indeed.

It's amazing what exercise can do for our overall health.

I started making exercise a part of my day back in August and i've lost 30lbs so far and my overall happiness and healthy is way better!
