Interesting article. But as always, I hate the ultra-extremes routine...

There is such a thing as being a "cookie pusher" and you end up with a dog that will do NOTHING if it doesn't know you have a treat... which is just as annoying to me as the dog who works his ass off for nothing more than a passing acknowledgement.

I didn't find that ultra extreme. At the end she very clearly mentions weaning away from the treats because your dog will learn to love to work because they love the work.

But yes, extremes annoy me, too.
